01 / Who we are
SoleGuard Alliance grew from a grassroots initiative in Western Kenya into a national NGO. We bring communities, health systems and animal-care partners together to build practical, lasting solutions.
02 / Why we exist
Preventable illness, limited access to animal care and a lack of livelihood opportunities affect the same households. We exist to address these needs together—improving wellbeing, dignity and opportunity for people and animals.
We envision a Kenya where no child drops out of school due to preventable parasitic infection, no animal suffers without humane medical attention, and young people have the tools to build healthy, prosperous villages.
By advancing health, humane care and economic opportunity through community-led, sustainable and collaborative action that bridges rural homes with county and national systems.
From field veterinary clinics to county stakeholder halls, our values define how we treat people, animals, and public trust.

Strategic oversight and compliance with Kenyan regulatory frameworks
SoleGuard Alliance is governed by an independent Board of Directors providing strategic oversight, reviewing programme targets, approving annual operational budgets, and holding executive leadership accountable.
We are committed to full compliance with Kenya’s Non-Governmental Organizations Co-ordination Act and Public Benefit Organizations regulations, filing verified annual returns and statutory social impact assessments.
Zero tolerance for exploitation or abuse. All staff, field volunteers, and youth artisans sign mandatory child protection policies and adhere to strict informed consent storytelling standards.
